Things are finally heating up, with more information leaking out about this year's Xiaomi flagship pair every day. Overall, what we know about the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro is that the manufacturer is presenting a true top-of-the-range device, and they are not cutting any corners this year.

The suppliers were carefully selected, and for each component they tried to choose the most advanced and best technology. This includes a 90Hz Samsung OLED display, Micron LPDD5 DRAM, UFS3.0, Samsung and Sony sensors, Snapdragon 865 processor and, of course, 5G. It is not yet clear how much the two models will differ, as the posters below only show details of one of them. It has not yet been confirmed whether 120Hz image refresh will be available on the displays, or whether Samsung will supply LPDDR5 RAM chips in addition to Micron.

A leaked image of Xiaomi's banner ads shows the launch date, the 13th of this month, as well as the back of both models, where we can see the differences.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 3 fixed and 1 zoom sensor on the back. One of the units is equipped with a 108MP sensor, just like the Xiaomi Mi Note 10/Pro and Mi Mix Alpha.

The Mi 10 Pro-There are also 3 lenses on the Pro model, but there's also room for a dedicated depth of field sensor, so the Pro model can now offer more advanced photographic capabilities. The only blue colour you can see on the Pro version is the edge display, it's similar to the Mi Note 10, but with a significantly thinner bottom and top bezel.

What remains unclear is whether both models or just the Pro will get 5G support. But since the processor is the same, it is more likely that both will be 5G capable.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, shown in blue (it is possible that 2-3 colour variants of both models will be made), will have a selfie lens located in the top left corner of the display through a cutout, as we have seen so far. The front of the Mi 10 in the middle remains a mystery, the only thing we can be sure of is the green color on the poster (this color is also used on the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro)

Another new feature that both models would seem to offer is 8K video recording at 30 fps, and it is known that the Pro version would offer stereo sound with the inclusion of two speakers (as you could see in our previous article). You can also see from the poster that the duo will be capable of 50x zoom. This is nothing new since the Mi Note 10, but the hardware is there.

The launch in China will start at 14:00 on 13 February at the company's headquarters, followed by the presentation of the global market versions 10 days later at MWC in Barcelona on 23 February at a press event starting at 10:30.
