Discontinued support for Xiaomi Mi 8 / Mi 9 / Redmi 7A

Well, these articles are never going to be my favourites, but I usually report back to you on the individual Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco phones on the abolition of aid to. Today, three more popular phones will lose factory support, Redmi 7A / Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi 9.

The Xiaomi's EOS list will be continuously extended to include devices for which all support will be discontinued. You will no longer receive MIUI or Android updates. The two new phones, the Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi 9, were the best phones of 2018 and 2019. Although the Mi 8's MIUI updates have already stopped in January, it has only just been added to the list. The Mi 9, which is a later phone, fared worse, having received no updates at all this year.

These three phones bring the EOS list to 81. Hopefully the newer phones won't die at this rate, but let's face it, Xiaomi is no longer the company to support any device for the long term.
