Redmi Note 10S gets MIUI 12.5 EE

The Redmi Note 10S is positioned between the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro, but differs from both in that it comes with MIUI 12.5 and Android 11 out of the box. Yet only now has the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update started rolling out.

Xiaomi has released the MIUI 12.5 EE update for the handset in the Turkey region for the time being, with build number V12.5.5.0.RKLTRXM.

The update will be delivered to end users gradually, as is customary. It is likely that the optimised interface will arrive in other regions within days.

The Redmi Note 10S is a phone from this year with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. It has a 6.43-inch FHD AMOLED display, 64-8-2-2 megapixel rear cameras and a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Stereo speakers, a 5 000 mAh battery, and 33W fast charging are also features of the device, along with IP53 certification and a side fingerprint scanner.

Android 12 and MIUI 13 are also likely to arrive in the future.
