The Xiaomi Redmi 3s is out

The long awaited Xiaomi Redmi 3s with fingerprint reader has finally arrived !!!

Today Xiaomi launched the Redmi 3s Snapdragon 430 Soc and fingerprint scanner, which will be priced at RMB 699 (USD 106) for the 16GB version only and RMB 899 (USD 136) for the 32GB version, and will be available in China from 16 June 2016.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3s has a 5-inch 720p display surrounded by the same chassis as its sibling, with dimensions of 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm and a weight of 144 grams. However, a circular fingerprint reader has been added to the back of the device. And the update also covers the inside of the machine. The device is powered by an eight-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, which isn't a powerhouse, but still performs better than the Snapdragon 616, which is not in the model marked "s".
