Xiaomi is the Civi's phone launched its latest watch, the Xiaomi Watch Color 2.

Let's get down to the nitty-gritty of what you need to know about the new watch. The display is Original from has been made slightly larger; the AMOLED panel is 1.43 inches instead of 1.39 inches. The watch has a metal frame, which can be in 3 different colours. The customisability of the watch is demonstrated by the fact that there are more than 200 different watch faces to choose from, and the watch comes with a choice of 6 different strap colours: black, blue, white, green, lemon and orange.

Unfortunately, the clock is still not Wear OSbut Xiaomi's own software, but in China it now also supports third-party apps such as Baidu Maps or Migu Runt. Of course, this makes no difference to European citizens like me who would like to use Google Pay, for example, because it has NFC.

The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 is water resistant up to 50 metres, so you can go swimming in it as well as showering. It supports 117 sports modes, 19 of which are labelled "professional". You don't need to carry a phone on a run if you have the watch with you and want to know where you've been, because it has a dual-band GPS receiver.

Compared to its predecessor, not only the display size but also the battery has increased slightly, from 420 to 470 mAh. This gives 12 days of battery life under average use, as promised by the manufacturer, but this can be as much as 24 days with the built-in power-saving mode. With continuous GPS tracking, you can get 30 hours out of it. Average use includes 24-hour heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen measurement, and the watch also has women's health functions.

How much is that?

In China, pre-ordering will cost 900 yuan (~43 thousand forints), on sale from Thursday, and the normal price will be 1000 yuan, or roughly 47 thousand forints.

Will it come to Europe and how much will it cost here? Both are good questions.
