We were so, so looking forward to the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 unveiling during the live broadcast that it was such a disappointment. The Band 7 didn't make a big splash either, but the demo didn't last 3 minutes either.
With this one picture, I shoot everything there is to know about him. But I'm not going to shy away from describing what the new Xiaomi Smart Band 7 does and how it's better than the previous one.

So, rumours are rumours, even though there was a hint in the code that there would be GPS. THERE WAS NOT! NO GPS! The screen is a bit bigger than the 6 (25%), but the same PPI, so it's not nicer, just bigger. Nicer, more colourful, smellier bracelets and dials. AOD! That's Always On Display, so you can always see the time. That's a cool feature. 5ATM water resistance and 4 kinds of float detection are also red dots.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 costs exactly the same in China as the Mi Band 6, so that's a tick. But it will be more expensive here, because the forint has depreciated so much since then that... ahh never mind. We'll find out at the international presentation how much it will be.
