There was a lot of anticipation... We were looking forward to it... We were on pins and needles to see it... I don't know how to start the launch of the Poco M4 Pro 5G phone. We were certainly looking forward to the Chinese Redmi Note 11 series, but not like this, not in this form.
Sorry for the ironic start, but you can't overlook this. It's not in our profile to be confused Xiaomi fans. The fact is, the Poco M4 Pro 5G is a rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G phone, with a slight design change, in a different colour. I'll run through the main features in case anyone is not familiar with the Redmi Note 11 5G phone.
Battery
The Poco M4 Pro 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging. So you can charge the battery from 0 to 100 in 59 minutes. Well, it's no HyperCharge, but charging it to full in an hour is good.
Screen
The screen is IPS LCD technology, with a 6.6″ diagonal display and FHD+ resolution. With 90 Hz DynamicSwitch refresh, the system can decide which refresh rate the phone uses. It also features 240 Hz touch sampling to accurately track your every touch. You can't complain about colour either, as the screen has a full DCI-P3 colour gamut. Of course, like every Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco phone so far, it also has a sunlight display function.
Camera
It also inherits its camera from China, with 2 camera units on the back. The main camera is 50 MP, the secondary is a 119º, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle. The selfie camera is 16 MP.
Processor
As for the processor, it's the cheap kind, the MediaTek Dimensity 810 to be precise. Contrary to popular belief, it's a solid mid-range. Its performance is about the equivalent of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732g. The SD732g has been in phones like the Poco X3 NFC, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite.
Other
It also features NFC, stereo speaker, X-axis linear vibration motor, FM radio, Infra remote control, 3.5 mm Jack and power button integration with fingerprint reader.
Colours
1 a 3
The Poco M4 Pro 5G came in slightly different colours to its Chinese counterpart, and even got the typical Poco yellow colour. There will also be a choice of "King Blue" and "Power Black".
Price, appearance
1 a 3
The new Poco phone will be available from 11 November, for now only online. Unfortunately we only know of 2 shops, Aliexpress and Amazon. The prices will be slightly different, there will be a special offer and a normal price:
Normal price
4/64 GB - 229€ ~ 82.420 Ft
6/128 GB - 249€ ~ 89.620 Ft
Special price
4/64 GB - 199€ ~ 71.625 Ft
6/128 GB - 219€ ~ 78.820 Ft
If you're observant enough, you can see very clearly from the pictures that it's not quite the Redmi Note 11 5G phone, as it hasn't got the case. It lacks the typical shape, edges and flat design. A pity... And if you look at the price, it might be worth it to get a Redmi from China, with all sorts of extra costs to then run the Chinese MIUI normally on it or custom roms based on it. Knowing the European systems, many people will think of this.
Poco F3
The Poco F3 has so far been available in three colours, already where... now it's got a new colour, "Moonlight Silver" is it.
The new colour Poco F3 will first be available for purchase on 11.11, and then in other versions on Black Friday.
If you like the new Poco phones, all you have to do is wait until 11 November and click on the big Buy button below to purchase from the official Poco store on Aliexpress.
