Xiaomi 12 Ultra could get Leica optics

The Xaiomi 12 rumours are already hitting the information highway. Of course, the Qualcomm processor that will debut on November 30th plays a big role in this. A Xiaomi 12 and other versions such as the Xiaomi 12 Pro and the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

We already know quite a lot about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC, thanks to leaked benchmarks. The primary core will be an ARM Cortex-X2-based design, clocked at 3.0 GHz. Also bolstering the lineup of more powerful cores will be three 2.5GHz Cortex-A710 based cores. And for less power-hungry computing, there will be a total of four Cortex-A510 architecture cores running at 1.79 GHz.

The well-known Chinese guessing champion recently posted this picture of a possible co-production. According to him, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra phone will be equipped with Leica optics. Don't expect the Ultra version this year. As with the Xiaomi Mi 11, the basic Chinese version was released in December, followed by the rest the following year. Xiaomi wants to be at the top again DXOMark on the list, megapixels and software are no match for them. The optics, on the other hand, can be polished... polished... or improved. Leica, on the other hand, could supply perhaps the best optics in the industry for Xiaomi's next top-of-the-range phone.
