Lei Jun: the new Mi Mix and Mi Pad 5 could arrive in August

Yesterday, Xiaomi announced on its official Weibo channel that Xiaomi CEO will make live announcements on interesting and important topics. Such were the company's recent achievements, such as Fortune Global 500, the new Chinese Mi Community app. But the most important was the mention of the new Mix and Mi Pad.

According to live video gave a long account of the company's merits, and then got down to business. In August, Xiaomi will unveil the new Mi Mix phone and the new Mi Pad tablet, which might get the number 5, but that's not set in stone yet.

Unfortunately, no details were revealed about either device. According to rumours and published certifications, the new tablets will be powered by Qualcomm's top-of-the-range mid-range chipset, the 7 and 6 series. Of course, there will be two series for sure, one will be able to connect to mobile networks, while the smaller one will max Wi-Fi.

The next affordable version of the Mi Mix, coming to our country, is already shrouded in more fog. Of course, rumours say it's getting the best of everything and maybe Xiaomi will finally show us how to do the under-screen selfie camera properly. Frameless screen, 2K resolution, big battery, 120W charging and more. We'll see.
