Meta has developed a new feature for WhatsApp that allows users to make disappearing messages the default. 

In recent years, the protection of the private sphere, and the end-to-end encryption (E2EE). End-to-end encryption, or end-to-end encryption, means that only the sender and receiver can see and hear the messages.

Encryption has been available in WhatsApp messaging since 2016, and last year they also introduced disappearing messages, which are a menu that lets you choose whether the message you send in a conversation stays forever or disappears after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days. The disappear feature was extended to pictures and videos a few months ago, and more recently it was extended to reported the company that users can set this feature as default so that all messages are automatically deleted from the service in the future.

If the WhatsApp user opts for the default setting, they can specify a 24-hour and 90-day disappearance period in addition to the existing 7-day setting. The system will also notify chat partners of the setting so that they know that there is nothing personal about messages disappearing from the chat window after a period of time.

The new feature is now available in the Account/Privacy/Default message duration menu items and select the desired duration.
