Xiaomi 13 Ultra silicone case leaked

The international versions of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will be unveiled online on Sunday and will be available at MWC 2023. However, the Xiaomi 13 series is clearly missing something, the "Ultra" flagship model. Xiaomi's CEO Xiaomi CEO recently stated that there will be no Xiaomi 13S series, but he has not yet mentioned when the super-large Xiaomi 13 Ultra will arrive.

The Xiaomi 12S Ultra was released in July 2022 and there are already signs of the next generation Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Today, Techgoing unveiled the Ultra's silicon case, showing off that it's equipped with a huge circular camera module. The overall design language, continues the design of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra mobile phone.

The phone is expected to be released in March or April this year, and the main feature will be Leica imaging. According to previous rumours, Samsung 2K E6 will use a curved screen with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Sony's 1-inch IMX989 main sensor will be retained, but with new stabilisation features added. All four rear cameras will support autofocus and there will be a dToF lidar sensor.

Xiaomiui blogger has revealed in the MIUI code that the phone will not only be released in China, but will also have a global release.

The Xiaomi 13 was first released in MIUI Alpha version 2022.11.05, if I can call it that. The code for the global release only showed up later, in MIUI released on 28.11.2022. Several sources have suggested a release date for the phone, or even an approximate one.
