Rumours have also been circulating that the Xiaomi Mi 10T series, released in Europe, will be launched in China as the Redmi family. Which is quite interesting, as the predecessor was the other way round, the Redmi K20/30 was released as the Xiaomi Mi 9T series.

After the release of the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Pro, Xiaomi executives made a news announcement to Chinese fans on Weibo, which was not met with a genuine smile from local followers. It's a bit understandable that their fat new product won't see the light of day in the mainland and will only be seen in their home country a month after the EU launch. Although they had nothing bad to say about the phone, they liked it, but were shocked to note how expensive it was here.

Redmi CEO Lu Weibing and Wang Teng Thomas also confirmed that new Redmi products will be launched in October and the fourth quarter of the year. Theoretically, the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro will be launched in China as the Redmi K30T and K30T Pro, and the Mi 10T Lite will be launched as the Redmi Note 10 5G. Unfortunately, there is no concrete information about the rest of the Redmi Note 10 series, but rumours suggest that the Redmi Note 10 Pro could get the MTK Dimensity 820 or 1000 series.
