The foodpanda, formerly Netwaiter, has been serving hungry people in our country since 1999. Although it has only just become known here, i.e. the new name, its activities have not changed, if not expanded. But not at home...

The foodpanda is now Asia's largest food delivery network outside China. The brand has now partnered with the Chinese tech giant. It offers a wide range of consumer electronics and appliances for on-demand delivery from its stores in Singapore and Thailand.

According to Abhishek Sahay, Senior Director of New Verticals at foodpanda, "On-demand delivery is an increasingly important part of people's daily lives. Alongside traditional e-commerce, brands are looking for the next stage of growth. Through fast-food delivery, foodpanda stores offer retailers a new way to get their products to their customers almost instantly, whenever they need them. We're proud to be Xiaomi's first fast-food retail partner in Asia and help them connect with their customers in the region as quickly as possible.

The partnership was necessary as in both regions, more and more customers are switching their spending habits to mobile platforms. This year, foodpanda has seen an 18-fold increase in orders on PC and mobile devices compared to 2020. In addition, the delivery service partnered with 1,000 electronics stores in Asia in 2021 alone. More than 289,000 products from local brands to major tech giants such as Huawei, Logitech, Asus, TP Link, Remax, Philips and many others are offered.
