A couple of weeks ago, rumours surfaced that Xiaomi would announce a new phone with 120W charging in India later this year. The information about the device is true, but it will not be released in 2021. Xiaomi has announced that it will launch the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge phone on January 6, which indeed supports 120W fast charging. A small curiosity in the naming is that while the series exists, the Mi 11i also available at home, however, since Xiaomi has already dropped the Mi from the name, the new phone will be released without it.

Xiaomi HyperCharge technology can charge a 5000 mAh battery from 0 to 100% in 15 minutes. This first appeared in the Xiaomi 11T Pro, our test of this and the phone here you can read.

The device will be available only in India for the time being, with a wide range of colours, according to the poster. The advertisement talks about a series, so there could be more than one companion for the device. What's extremely cute is that there's more info coming about the phone, and it's also confirmed when, as Xiaomi has given dates for when it will drop more details about the series. And with that, you can keep a nice eye out for the announcement. Nice one!

The Fliprkarton appeared in blurry pictures 1 or 2 things can be picked out. The phone comes with a 120 Hz display and one of the top Dimensity chips.

According to some rumors, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge, is none other than the already released in China Redmi Note 11 Pro+. Based on the info, it could be, we'll see. Whether this device will come to Europe and with it to Hungary, or whether these devices will come, remains to be seen.
