In 2017, total tablet sales fell by 6.5%, with only 163.5 million units sold. The decline affected all Android tablet manufacturers, with only Apple managing to increase its share (from 42.6 million to 43.8 million). iPad's market share thus increased to 27%. According to IDC data, Xiaomi was among the tablet manufacturers most affected. But the Chinese Apple only sold its tablets on the domestic market, where the number of users reached 405.7 million.
