A few days ago, a tipster revealed that Xiaomi was working on a compact notebook called Xiaomi Book S 12.4, and that it was undergoing internal testing in Asian countries. The Book S 12.4 notebook has now appeared on the Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG certification sites, revealing key details.

The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 scored an impressive score on the Geekbench on the side. He scored 758 points in the single-core section and 3014 points in the multi-core section. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 chipset with a base frequency of 3.00 GHz. The laptop has 8 GB of RAM and runs the latest Windows 11 Home 64-bit operating system.

The Bluetooth SIG certificate confirms that the notebook is Bluetooth enabled. More leaks and certifications are expected in the coming days.

Xiaomi has not yet officially revealed any details about the notebook, but this could change with an announcement coming soon.

ARM-based laptops are gaining ground these days. Low power consumption, lower heat generation, and even continuous operation without power off can be very attractive for users of portable devices.

Apart from this, the brand has recently launched the Redmi Book Pro 15 in the Chinese market. It comes with the latest 12th generation Intel Core i5, i7 processor and can even be ordered with NVIDIA RTA 2050 GPU. The laptop comes with a 15-inch screen and 90 Hz refresh rate. It has 130 W fast charging support, which is claimed to charge the laptop from 0% to 100% in an hour.
