Xiaomi unveiled the 12 Series just days before New Year's Eve, and it was only released in China. The rest of the world is still waiting for the global launch, and while there is no official timetable yet, there are growing signs that the launch is close to debut.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro was spotted in the Indonesian telco's database a week ago, and now the Pro has also passed the FCC and has been spotted in several benchmark results.
According to the FCC report, the phone will also have plenty of 5G band and Wi-Fi 6E support, although this is still not legal in some regions (e.g. the EU). The handset will also have NFC, of course.
Power is of course provided by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The global Xiaomi 12 Pro Geekbench results show 12 GB of RAM and Android 12 running MIUI 13. The score is low for an 8 Gen 1 phone, so the global ROM probably still needs optimization.

The phone was also included in the HTML5Test database, using Chrome 96 on Android 12. Interestingly, this result is from two months ago, before Xiaomi unveiled the 12 series, so the global model has been in development for quite some time.
The Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro are about to be launched globally, with the third member of the family, the Xiaomi 12X, hopefully also on the cards. The release date is still hazy, but according to previous leaks, the Xiaomi 12 global series is targeting a February or March release. No information on price is available.
