The Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is on its way to Europe

It's about time we updated the Redmi Note range, although it won't be happening this year. Not because of the Chinese mourning, but because the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G has just been added to the IMEI database. It's at least 1 month away.

In October, a Redmi device with model number 2209116AG and Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 year appeared in the IMEI database. It also appeared on multiple platforms such as Google Play Console, Geekbench, FCC, EEC and SIRM (Malaysia) databases. The codename has appeared again in the IMEI database, this time as Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G.

The code name of the phone is "sweet_k6a_global", the Redmi Note 10 Pro and "sweet_global". This means that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 is a rebadged Redmi Note 10 Pro "sweet". After a long time, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 has changed its name to Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G. Xiaomi has decided to give preference to the model codenamed "sweet_k6a_global" along with the Redmi Note 12 series.

Various certifications of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G reveal that it is equipped with a Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 732G processor and 8 GB of memory. Pre-installed MIUI 13, with Android 13 based operating system. Just like the Redmi Note 10 Pro and 11 Pro 2023.
