19 January 2018 - The specifications of MiJia's latest product were leaked ahead of time and officially unveiled the next day. In addition to in-car ride-hailers, MiJia has now developed a dehumidifier specifically for cars, and air purifier also offers. Now they have introduced a car inverter that is also a standard USB charger. The shape is again unconventional, and like the Xiaomi Smart Home product, it is white. It is silent thanks to passive cooling and efficient heat dissipation. Although EU connectivity is not supported by the product itself, it can be easily bypassed with a converter. When camping, you can then not only reach the designated - and plugged in - places without any problems, but also anywhere, depending on the terrain. Of course, you'll need a car with the right belly height, a fresh battery and enough fuel. The inverter can serve camping equipment, i.e. anything up to 100W max. You can even charge your laptop or use your cooler more efficiently.
But what is an inverter? It is a voltage converter that can "produce" 230V from the 12V socket of your car.
It's not exactly an off-road vehicle, but it can handle this terrain.
It is safe to use thanks to its massive design. The lid is the socket in the top picture, the lower part of which (when the cap is closed) is impact resistant.
The question may arise: where do we put it while we are on the move? In the cup holder, of course.
