The second wave of MIUI 12.5 has launched in China!

The first wave, non-COVID, has been slowly rolling out in the mainland and many phones have received MIUI 12.5 Stable. More and more phones here at home are getting the Global version, but today in China, the second wave of MIUI 12.5 has launched.

In this round, the following Chinese phones will receive the MIUI 12.5 Stable update:

• Xiaomi Mi 10 Light 5G
• Xiaomi Mi 9
• Xiaomi CC9 Pro
• Redmi K40 Pro
• Redmi K40
• Redmi K30S Extreme Edition
• Redmi K30 Extreme Edition
• Redmi K30 Pro
• Redmi K30 5G
• Redmi K30i 5G
• Redmi K20 Pro
• Redmi Note 9 Pro
• Redmi Note 9
• Redmi 10X Pro 5G
• Redmi 10X 5G

And the global equivalent of these will be coming soon, just wait and see. Theoretically, we'll have to wait about 1 month after the Chinese release to see the EEA version, unfairly dubbed MIUI, on domestic phones.
