A minor confusion was created by a Weibo post on 11 October by a Xiaomi employee, in which he briefly expressed his displeasure with the management. The problem is that this is a microblog from the Nanjin Mi Store...

"Today there will no longer be a Nanjing flagship Mi Store. You [probably referring to Mi Store management] are stepping on the bodies of brothers and sisters who work for low incomes. Xiaomi is no longer the coolest company in my mind."

- said (in a slightly rough translation) a member of the Weibo blog team. The post mentions the two main leaders, Xiaomi CEO founder and CEO Bin Lin. The main problem, according to the staff member, is the low appreciation and low wages for the expectation that the Mi Store operator has.

This is not the first time that Xiaomi's Chinese employees have complained, in fact, the owner of one of the franchised Mi Stores has sued the company for breach of contract, supply problems, negligence in communication and marketing, etc.

The post was quickly deleted, but not enough, it was picked up by local media and published on several social media platforms. Xiaomi confirmed in a statement that one of their employees had expressed a personal grudge and that they were investigating the matter.
