TikTok is testing a new dislike button, which now allows you to tell us when you don't like something in comments.

ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, announced on Wednesday that it is testing a way to vote down comments so that users can mark the "irrelevant or inappropriate" found ideas. A The Verge according to some users may have already seen this new option for comments earlier this year.

While the dislikes will not be visible to the community, the company says that the introduction of the dislike button will increase engagement with the site and make posts more relevant. Unlike Facebook, TikTok also allows users to dislike posts, indicating that they did not like the content.

In its recently published transparency report, the company claims to have removed more than 85 million videos for infringement between October and December 2021 - around 1 percent of all videos uploaded to the app.

To achieve the perfect community experience, TikTok is constantly building and improving the site. The company, known for its short videos, is announced, to take a twist on the tried and tested formula, and will soon allow videos of up to 10 minutes to be made on the platform. Last year, the company made 3-minute videos available, and even allowed some users to upload 5-minute videos. Longer content seems to have caught on, as longer videos than ever before will soon be available.
