On November 5, 2019, starting at 14:00 in the afternoon, the Xiaomi CC9 Pro phone will be unveiled in China. As we all know, the CC9 series stood out from the rest with its camera capabilities, which are exclusively intended for the Chinese market. And now the CC9 Pro comes with the most brutal camera system ever.
- 10x telephoto lens, 50x digital zoom
- 12 MP, portrait lens, 1.4 µm large pixel, 2PD dual-core focus
- 108 MP main camera, 1/1.33″ high light sensor, f 1.7 aperture
- 20 MP, 117° ultra wide angle of view
- 1,5 cm macro lens
In order to accommodate the 5 modules, the inside of the phone has to be completely redesigned, as you can see in the picture above, the motherboard is not in the usual place, at the top of the phone, so the battery is almost the entire length of the phone, resulting in the following staggering 5,270 mAh capacity.

The presentation above is an excellent example of the CC9 Pro camera's capabilities. You can achieve up to 10x optical zoom compared to the original camera, and thanks to the huge resolution, the 50x digital zoom doesn't compromise image quality enough to be unacceptable.
As Xiaomi illustrates, it's like they've built a small telescope in front of the camera... let's hope they put a sensible high-resolution sensor behind the macro lens.
