The The Wall Street Journal discovered a correspondence dated 2007 in which CEO Bill Gates flirted with an employee.

Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, has had success after success, becoming one of the richest men in the world, without a single scandal for decades, the "normal billionaire" who has not been involved in scandal, and who has spent a lot on charity through the foundation he and his wife built together. It may have come as a surprise to many that Bill Gates and Melinda Gates, who seemed to the media to be a model couple, announced in May this year that they had filed for divorce and planned to pursue their future separately.

The Microsoft founder was investigated back in 2019 after an employee of the company alleged that he and Bill Gates had been intimate for years. The Microsoft executive eventually resigned in a hurry, but later that year more unpleasant news emerged, found out the billionaire with a reputation as a good guy was linked to Jeffrey Epstein, who was jailed in 2019 on charges including sex trafficking of minors.

The The Wall Street Journal now another embarrassing story brought down In 2008, the company's management discovered a correspondence dated 2007 in which the billionaire and a mid-level female employee were flirting with each other. In the letter, Gates made a clear offer to meet her outside the office. As it turned out, after the discovery of the letter, the board of directors questioned Gates, who admitted to the affair, but as the board considered that no physical interaction had taken place, no investigation was launched.

Following an article in the WSJ, Bill Gates' spokesperson Business Insiderto interviewed by, in which he claimed that the allegations were false and that they were merely a recycled rumour.
