Some days ago we wrote an article that the China Developer ROMS' weekly update would be suspended until the MIUI10 first Developer version in July.

We have just received the news that the Global that is also the one containing the Hungarian language weekly update will be suspended until July! The official announcement:

Dear MIUIers,

Since the first version of MIUI was released on 16 August 2018, we have been constantly improving the performance of MIUI to provide a better experience for users.

To achieve the better system stability and optimization we have released the last public Developer ROM (8.4.19) for MIUI 9 on 20 April. Since then, MIUI developers have been focusing on system optimization and bug fixes. It is expected that the update will be resumed around July. We will keep you updated.

In the meantime, in consideration of stability and user experience, some Android 5.X and 4.X devices will remain on developer ROM and won't support the subsequent major updates.

Devices that will not get any major MIUI version updates from now on:
Redmi 2, Redmi 1S, Redmi Note, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi Note 2, Redmi 3, Redmi 2 Prime, Mi 4i and Mi 2/2S.
Note: MIUI 9.6 Global Stable ROM is likely to be released around July and will be constantly updated.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. Please stay tuned!

MIUI Team

Well, nobody should expect weekly updates until July neither China, Global nor MIUIHU or Xiaomi.eu ROM (or anything else that is based on MIUI). Only Stable ROMs get updates, the last MIUI 9.6 until July. It will not be announced at any forum that in July the first version of MIUI10 will be available but we can take it for granted. Last year's update scenario of MIUI 8-9 was very similar to that of this year. Devices on Stable ROM will get the last updates in June-July, when exactly is not published and perhaps it won't be either. It only depends on the developers' time. It is needless to ask questions in connection with this on forums or Facebook. Nobody on earth can say more unless the Chinese inform people about it. Everything else is rumour, speculation, hoax! Don't get taken in!

Share this information in every group, forum or wherever you can so that all Xiaomi fans will be informed about it!!!!
