The Xiaomi 12T is also on the DXOMark list

I recently wrote about About Xiaomi 12T Pro, which was recently added to the DXOMark list. It was ranked 18th in the overall list, but first in the Premium segment. Now its little brother, the Xiaomi 12T, has also made the cut and has again landed on the podium in its own segment.

• Pleasant photo and video performance with good noise management and accurate autofocus
• Good readability and smooth display interactions

Contra

• Inconsistency in portrait photos, due to inaccurate skin tone colour and unnatural facial details
• Poor display performance in daylight
• Poor efficiency in terms of discharge current

Camera

The Xiaomi 12T came in at 47th place on the global list, but has already moved up to third place in the High-End category. It is not alone, with Honor 70 phones in a split position, Google Pixel 6a is one place above it and Google Pixel 6 sits at the top of the podium.

Display

Its screen has already moved it up a few notches to 21st place in the global list, along with two other phones, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G and the Sony Xperia 5 IV. However, in its own category, the HIGH-END list, it is already in second place, ahead of the Google Pixel 6/a, Oneplus 8T, TCL 20 Pro 5G. But it is far from the top spot, where the Google Pixel 7 reigns supreme.

Battery

In battery tests, it has again dropped a couple of places, to 47th in the overall list, just like the camera list. In its own category, it doesn't do too well either, coming in 10th place, between the Realme GT 5G and the Honor 70.

Summary

Of course, it should not be compared with top models either. But under 600$ it is very well placed, I would say that it is almost the best choice in terms of price/value! That's why Xiaomi is now offering it in a special offer at home, together with a Smart Air Fryer oven, because it is VERY EXCELLENT!

There are two colours in the Xiaomi range, blue and black. But you will also get a Xiaomi Mi Smart Air fryer, worth 37.990 Ft! If you deduct this from the bundle offer price, which is now 249.990 Ft, the phone is only 212.000 Ft. That's a brutally good price for it!!!
