[Week 30] MIUI 14 global ROM changes

Every week on the Xiaomi Community, they report on the status of the global development of MIUI 14, what has been released and what fixes can be expected in light of known bugs. Xiaomi fans,

Our developers are focusing on system optimisation, enhancements and bug fixes this week. There are some important bugs that will be fixed in this week's update. The change log is coming, let's get started!

How to upgrade to MIUI 13/MIUI 14

• Please backup your data and applications before upgrading to MIUI 13 / MIUI 14 global.
• Open the Updater app and check for updates (or download the Recovery ROM).
• If your device bootloader is locked, please unlock it before installing fastboot. See the detailed instructions to unlock the Bootloader and Flash MIUI stable/beta ROM!

Issue suspended【04.28 – 05.05】
Please note that the following system update versions have been suspended due to the rapid battery drain problem

Troubleshoot Android Auto flicker or freeze* on Xiaomi 11T Pro
1. Go to Settings " Always on display and lock screen.
2. Set the Notification effect to None.

* Android Auto start screen freezes; this is only a temporary fix. The problem should be fixed in the next system update.

Its device is updated to MIUI 14. More information on the mi.com/global/miui side.

Known issues to be fixed in the next update

1. Cannot be unlocked with fingerprint (Redmi Note 12 5G)
2. Unable to download the update pack (Redmi Note 12 Pro)
3. Poor quality photo from a third-party application (Redmi Note 12)
4. The time zone has not been updated (Xiaomi 11T Pro)
5. Not downloadable (Xiaomi 12)
6. Cannot connect to another BT device (Xiaomi 11T)
7. Random restart (Poco X5 5G)
8. You cannot play music offline (on all devices)
9. Cannot be sent to TV (Poco X4 GT)
10. Battery drain while using the device (Redmi Note 12 Pro+5G/ Redmi Note 12 pro 5G)
11. Cannot add widgets (Redmi Note 12)
12. Error with battery charge level (Redmi Note 12)
13. When using fonts from some theme stores, the 5G display on the status bar is incomplete (Xiaomi 13 Pro)
14. Mir Pay does not work (Xiaomi 13 Pro)
