I was surprised to see the 2 year warranty, but I was reassured that it was not a gimmick. They do indeed take care of any servicing of the vacuum cleaner (as with previous models), and customer service is available for any problems or questions.
You'll probably come across Xiaomi products on other domestic sites, but the warranty is often quite vague if you ask.
