Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 game test

I was pleasantly surprised while trying to sweat the Redmi Note 5's Snapdragon 636 chipset with the better Android games, but the Andreno 509 graphics chip performed brilliantly. No hangs in gaming, little warming even in case. True, it's not a top device according to Antutu numbers, but it easily beats the 1-2 year old big ones according to Geekbench. I've run Tekken, Asphalt 8: Airborn and World of Tanks Blitz gammas on it, they ran surprisingly smoothly. During Asphalt, it was somewhat noticeable as if there were one or two frames missed when too much was exploding and moving on the screen, but it had no effect on the gaming experience. Maybe others don't notice...

Have fun!
