Xiaomi Mi Box 4c presentation

After the Mi Box 3 international version, I was a bit hesitant to start using the Mi Box 4c. In theory, I was already prepared for what was to come, as almost all Mi TVs, projectors and the Box family are domestic Chinese products and would hardly bode well. This is where I mean the language of the system, as the whole 99% in Chinese has traces of English.

The interface, PatchWall, until last week's announcement in India, is exclusively in Chinese and cannot be set to a language other than the usual alternative for phones, English. Let's not even talk about English.

There's nothing wrong with the hardware itself, it does its job as you'd expect it to, with the one orphan USB port for external storage that can hold up to 4K movies, playing smoothly. The pictograms in the player and all the apps are clear, but the menu should only be opened by someone who understands the cottage-chair-legs combo.

But if you tinker a bit, you can access a good part of the android settings in English and even add the Google Play store to your smart phone. You can use it as a remote screen and explore the wonderful media world of Eastern culture. Like cooking shows and fitness can be watched. 8-) ;-)
