Until now, we could only dream of paying with a wearable Xiaomi bracelet or watch in the store or anywhere else. Since none of the banks in our country support Android devices, unlike Apple's, we have not had any use for NFC gadgets. On the other hand, we could ring up the money at the cashier with a single touch.

But today we got fantastic news from the East that with the expansion and development of Mi Fit, we will get a feature that will enable NFC on the Mi Band 4 bracelet and then the upcoming Mi Band 5, which will theoretically debut with touch payments.

Payment can only be made, in the first instance, by Mastercard and only in Russia. Later on, of course, there are plans to add more countries where PayPass with this type of card already exists. In addition to the card provider, payment options from other companies such as Visa, Google Pay and even PayPal are also planned for the future. It could of course also be used to replace access cards, travel cards and other NFC devices in addition to payment.

In the coming weeks, the Mi Band 4 NFC will go on sale in Russia for 4,000 Rubles ~ 18,000 Ft. The domestic price will be higher than this, as the government has the biggest burden on prices here and the forint is also quite low. We'll see.
