Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE released in IMEI database

Before the Xiaomi 13 era arrives, one more skin will be peeled off the previous series. They're a little late with that, but what they bring makes up for it. Of course, we're not talking about a new phone here either, but an existing Chinese one coming to us, called the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE.

Sound familiar? No? Xiaomi phone model number 2210129SG received FCC certification in September. It was later released on the Singapore IMDA and European EEC certification platforms. Now the same device has appeared in the IMEI database as Mi 12 Lite 5G NE. This is the latest in a series of Chinese Xiaomi phones, the Xiaomi Civi 2.

Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE expected to be exclusive to the Chinese market Xiaomi Civi 2 (2209129SC) will be a facelift or refined version. As the 12 Lite 5G NE has already received some important certifications, the device is expected to be available by the end of this month.

The phone's FCC certification showed that it has three configurations. 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will offer connectivity features like 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS and NFC. The device is likely to come pre-installed with the Android 13-based MIUI 13 operating system. IMDA and EEC listings do not reveal any major information about the device's specifications.

Xiaomi Civi 2

The Xiaomi Civi 2 features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. It offers FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Its special front dual 32 megapixel selfie camera is unique. On the back, there is a 50 megapixel main camera, a 20 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The Civi 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip and comes with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Its built-in 4500 mAh battery supports 67 W fast charging.

Xiaomi 12 Lite

It should be noted that the international version of the Xiaomi Mi 12 Lite was released in July this year, equipped with a Snapdragon 778G chip, built on 6nm architecture, with 6 or 8 GB of memory and up to 256 GB of storage. The phone features a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen that supports 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
