In China, another 5G-capable Xiaomi or Redmi phone has surfaced and received 3C certification. We didn't get too much from the certificate, but it gives some clues to current rumours.

The post clearly shows that Xiaomi will make this phone, which will be 5G capable. This foreshadows which SoC family will power it. Although nowadays slowly all chipsets for anything are already 5G capable. SD or MTK then it becomes a question of which league it will play in.

It was also revealed that the phone's battery is powered by "only" 67 W at maximum. Now that's a real understatement, because that's how much you charge a mid-range phone today. I mean Xiaomi / Redmi phones.

The rumours we've heard so far about upcoming phones are not so much supported. The Xiaomi 13 series is definitely coming, but we can expect it only in December. After the release of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. But does a new flagship deserve such underwhelming hardware? Or do you think the smallest member of the new Xiaomi series can fit 67W of fast charging, or is 120W standard?

But in the real rumours, the Redmi Note 12T and the Redmi K60 have surfaced. I don't even understand the newer member of the Note series, I mean, why more. The previous, Redmi K50 also came with 67 W fast charging in March, perhaps 120 W could be the standard in the new range today.
