Once again, the "blacklist", which lists the phones that will not receive any more updates. Neither MIUI nor Android base updates are expected for these phones. There's nothing surprising in this, as they can't provide updates for all old phones, with new and better ones being given higher priority. Several Redmi and POCO phones will no longer be supported.
The list has been expanded in the Redmi brand section, with quite a few phones. These, although their names are the same, vary by region. More specifically, these are the ones that will no longer be supported and will no longer receive updates, not even MIUI 14:

- POCO F2 Pro (GLOBAL)

- Redmi Note 9 (GLOBAL)
- Redmi 9 (CN)
- Redmi 10X 4G (CN)
- Redmi 9A (GLOBAL)
- Redmi K30i 5G (CN)
Only one of the phones in the list that we are interested in, and that is the Redmi Note 9 (EEA). The EEA represents the Europe region, including Hungary. The rest is either global, Chinese and Indian. But this may also be important for us, because it foreshadows that these will also one day cease to be supported here.
There's a cuckoo's egg in the list, which I don't understand how it got there. It is the POCO F2 Pro (GLOBAL). Why is it in the Redmi list when there is a separate POCO list??? But if we get over this, let's wipe the tear from our face. After the end of support for Chinese phones, maybe 1-2 European updates will still be worth it, but they will also end support here. So you can bury it now if you have one of these.
