Xiaomi is always thinking of something new to surprise us fans, but I'll go further, the whole world! Although not all ideas are implemented, this could be due to a lack of technology, the invention is too outrageous, or the world is not ready for such a novelty.

The visual realisation of Xiaomi's latest brainchild, once again For LetsgoDigital which separates the phone's screen from its casing. This makes it possible to create a "two-component" phone. All the units, apart from the screen, are inside the casing, together with cameras and sensors. Thus, the removable screen incorporates the existing transparent technology, so that the selfie camera, proximity sensor, environmental sensor will work through the full screen. In addition, the physical buttons , battery, USB-C connector, speaker and microphones are also inside the housing.

The screen is devoid of holes, notches, etc., so finally you get a true full screen, like the MIX and T/K series phones. You can still see the thin bezel on the front of the screen, which is almost pointless in this situation, as it was explained by the fact that the antennas are located there... or are they still? Why aren't they in the case, so we can forget about coffee.

But what is the point of this? Can it be used separately? For example, if there is a BT connection between the two and there is also a small battery in the screen, then maybe it could be used without the housing, remotely controlling the camera or something. But of course it could come in handy if you break it, just simply buy a new screen and replace it yourself. What's your idea of the sense of this patent?
