We continue to showcase smart devices at the Huami showcase. The GTS watch was followed by a somewhat overhasty Smart Sport Watch 3, whose predecessor was only unveiled in July. But it was quickly dubbed Stratos 3 by the tabloid press! :D

The third series looks no different from its predecessors, with a round dial and multifunction buttons on the side. But it's a sports-only 3, unlike the refined and elegant versions of the previous version.
Full Moon Display is not a novelty, the new watch comes with the transflective LCD display known from Bip, which we can see in any sunlight and is extremely good, because it reflects the incident light and makes it look like there is a backlight. And in the dark, the adjustable LED backlight makes it easy to read the dial. Boasting a 1.34″ diameter and a 260,000-colour display, it's got nothing to complain about and is protected by sapphire crystal.
In the third version you won't feel the built-in sports activity monitoring, it can analyse and evaluate data from 19 different activities, but there's no table tennis either, just plain... interestingly, you can now choose Triathlon, compound movement and skiing. Heart rate monitoring is provided by the top-quality BioTracket PPG and accurate motion detection during exercise is ensured by the FIRSTBEAT Professional Motion algorithm. It's water resistant to 5ATM, making it suitable for swimming, according to the manufacturer, although the rating doesn't officially recommend it.
Of course, built-in GPS helps you keep track of your outdoor sports performance, with four satellite systems in three modes: GPS + GLONASS | GPS + BEIDOU | GPS + GALILEO.
In terms of energy savings, the GPS is one of the most energy consuming components, with 35 hours of continuous use, 45 hours in average mode with a 5-second fix, and 70 hours in energy-saving mode measured in minutes.In smart sport mode, the total operating time of the watch is up to 7 days, but in general use it can be double that, up to 14 days.
At the heart of the watch is a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-M4 dual-core processor, 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of storage for music. In smart mode, it reduces power consumption by 59.8%, while retaining 80% of the features. In addition, the watch is NFC and Alipay payment capable, and Bluetooth 5.0 can connect to your phone and BT headset at the same time. Its notification system will not only alert you when you've been sitting for a long time, but also for your next workout so you don't miss any important movements in the series.
The Amazfit Smart Sport Watch 3 is available in two versions, the standard version with a 316L stainless steel frame, while the Elite version is made of titanium alloy. It features 9H grade sapphire glass and fluorocarbon straps. The standard version is available in China for 1.299 Juan (~53.865 Ft), while the Elite edition is available for 1.699 Juan (~70.450 Ft). It will be available in other online stores, not to mention domestic distribution, at a much higher price.
