China's Ninebot, after acquiring Segway (in 2015) - and then merging development and manufacturing - has also expanded its product range.
Today, in addition to the many variants of the self-balancing two-wheeled scooter, there are two and three-wheeled versions of electric scooters, unicycles, the Drift, which can be described as a roller skate, the Ninebot Gokart, but also three-wheeled law enforcement vehicles, luggage carriers, and a new category, the hybrid powertrain quad family you can also find.
I've had the pleasure of using the Ninebot S-Plus and the S model, brilliant devices. Unfortunately, the Hungarians have not yet discovered its advantages, the Xiaomi scooter is the cool one here. Ninebot scooters can be found in several domestic webshops, as the Gokart and Ninebot S / S Plus can now be purchased in 2 domestic official stores.
We hope the new product will be available in Europe next year.
The Xiaomi ecosystem already has electric scooters and cars. In the future, we can expect to see more and more e-vehicles from different manufacturers in Xiaomi's distribution chain. Unfortunately, some of these are not marketable due to EU protective tariffs, domestic tax burdens and the lack of a European service background. The stronger Xiaomi expansion expected in 2020 will hopefully have a positive impact on the distribution of these products.
