I have already received comments asking why I am always looking for the sense of things and criticising Xiaomi, for example for reissuing phones. Well, we here at Helloxiaomin are honest, we write down what we think, even if we really like something and even if we really don't.

This also raises the question of whether or not bendable phones make sense. In the last few years, phones have looked essentially the same. Whether it's a wider nocth or just a drop-nocth, maybe just a hole, doesn't matter, it's basically the same. Bendable display technology has brought a breath of fresh air to an already boring market. There's a technology that manufacturers want to do something with, but they don't quite know what yet.

3 versions for recovery: Samsung Galaxy Fold, Motorola Razr, Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha

Each of the three phones was built on a different concept, using the bendable display technology in a different way, so which one makes more sense is a good question, but it's clear that the first version is currently the most popular among mobile phone manufacturers. Xiaomi also has this concept made for your phone, the Mi Mix Fold, its successor has been rumoured, thanks to none other than Digital Chat Staion.

The most important information is that the device will be powered by the top Qualcomm chip, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Leaked details suggest that the device will be called the Xiaomi Mix Flip. This, in turn, suggests that it is intended to be a rival to the Galaxy Z Flip 3, but with the design shown in the 2nd image. Incidentally, this would not be the first top snapdragon bendable phone, as the recently launched Motorola Razr also has it.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip's internal folded OLED display is said to have a 120 Hz panel with a high refresh rate. According to 9To5Google, the device will also get 120 W fast charging.

The leak also includes the camera specifications. The foldable handset will reportedly feature a 50-megapixel camera with an f/1.5 aperture lens. There's even more interesting info. The phone will reportedly cost as much as an average high-end phone. It's true that an average top-end phone is brutally expensive, but bendable top-end phones are usually 1.5-2 times that, so it's supposed to be cheaper than the average.

According to an info from last year, the device will debut on March 29, which is more of an approximate date.
