This morning in India, the Redmi Note 13 5G series was unveiled, which is identical to its Chinese counterpart launched in September. However, the price has increased significantly, even in India, but it's still a good price.

All three members of the Redmi Note 13 5G series have arrived from China, with new colours but the same hardware. They are all 5G capable, the regular, Pro and Pro+ of course.

Redmi Note 13 5G

Even the smallest Redmi Note 13 5G is equipped with great hardware, with Mediatek Dimensity 6080 predecessor A hair better than Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. But it's definitely newer. The display size remains at 6.67″, but the dimensions of the phone have been significantly reduced, so the screen bezel is also much thinner. The protection has also improved a lot, with GG5 protecting the screen right after GG3. Not to mention the camera, which has been increased from 48 MP to 100 MP, keeping the 8 MP ultra wide and the 2 MP macro that everyone loves.

All in all, the Redmi Note 13 5G is a worthy successor to the Redmi Note 12 5G-and everything is better, not a little better. This is also reflected in the price, although it has only debuted in India, where it is available for 16,999 INR ~ 71,000 Ft for 6/128 GB.

  • 6/128 GB - 16.999 INR ~ 71.000 Ft
  • 8/256 GB - 18.999 INR ~ 79.000 Ft
  • 12/256 GB - 20.999 INR ~ 87.000 Ft

Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G

The Redmi Note 13 Pro is no exception, with big improvements in the to its predecessor in comparison. The screen size has remained at 6.67″ but the casing has been thinned here, so the screen is cavernous. In fact, it's now the thinnest Redmi Note series ever. And the 14 will be thinner... The screen, as I mentioned, has jumped from FHD+ resolution to 1.5K, brightness has doubled, it can display a lot more colours. And it's protected by GG Victus, which not long ago was only on expensive flagship phones.

The Snapdragon 7s GEN 2 processor is better than the Dimensity 1080 in every way, not even slightly, so there's a significant improvement in usability. The resolution of the main camera has been increased from 50 MP to 200 MP, although I know not everyone agrees with the pixel war, but if nothing else, it's been increased and that's to its benefit.

Pricing is also in place for the Pro version, the smallest version, which has 8 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage, for just INR 23,999 ~ 100,000. Of course it's also cheaper in China, there only 1.699 yuan ~ 82.000 Ft.

  • 8/128 GB - 23.999 INR ~ 100.000 Ft
  • 8/256 GB - 25.999 INR ~ 108.000 Ft
  • 12/256 GB - 27.999 INR ~ 116.000 Ft

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G has some extra features compared to the Pro. The Dimensity 7200-Ultra is better than the Snapdragon 7s GEN 2 in every way, so performance is also significantly improved. The screen resolution is the same 1.5K, but with rounded edges and and and under-screen fingerprint reader! Well yes, it's reached the mid-range for Redmi with this fiddle too. But it's not just this one that's different from the rest, the Pro+ can now do NFC payments, door opening and other goodies.

So the Pro+ is almost at the bottom of the high-end range, but it remains at the top of the mid-range. Its price is also somewhere in there, with the cheapest 8/256 GB version coming in at INR 29,999 ~ 125,000 Ft.

  • 8/256 GB - 29.999 INR ~ 125.000 Ft
  • 12/256 GB - 31.999 INR ~ 133.000 Ft
  • 12/512 GB - 33.999 INR ~ 141.000 Ft

All in all, we get another good Redmi Note series, with the right price and features for everyone. Although these are still not the domestic or European prices, the full range is already available on Aliexpress, at a slightly higher price. The global launch will take place on 15 January.
