The MediaTek new Dimensity 8300-Ultra will first be released in the Redmi K70E. The SoC promises to be very good, and there's something special about it. The collaboration between Redmi and MediaTek aims to introduce a next-generation artificial intelligence platform that will lay the foundation for better performance and experience.

AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Graphics Computing)

Redmi's Lu Weibing emphasized the K70E's AI capabilities and said that the AI performance is extremely strong. With a millisecond-level AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Graphics Computing) response speed, the K70E aims to deliver a comprehensive AI experience comparable to high-end flagship devices. Weibing said the K70E is the only product in its class to offer the full functionality of AIGC.

The Redmi K70E's AI-enabled features cover a wide range of applications, including quick capture of creative text, AI photo enhancement for new photos, quick generation of inspiring ideas with AI Vincent images, AI album search, real-time captions and more. These features underline Redmi's commitment to making technologically advanced and user-friendly devices.

Performance

The Redmi K70E not only presents the capabilities of the Dimensity 8300-Ultra, but also HyperOS comes pre-installed with the system, promising a smooth and optimized user experience. The integration of this customized chipset puts cutting-edge technology at the core of the Redmi K70E's capabilities.

According to Redmi's official information, the Redmi K70E's AnTuTu Benchmark scores are impressive, with a total of 1,526,328 points. This highlights the device's robust performance and positions it as a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market.

The Redmi K70E was used to test an open-world game for an hour, in best image quality, highest resolution and at a room temperature of 25°C. It achieved an average frame rate of 58.86 FPS.

This result even outperforms the recently released Xiaomi 13T Pro, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It is certainly better than the previously released 8-series Dimensity, the latest SD7+ Gen 2, but it still easily brings it up to the level of the SD8 Gen 2. This is so important to highlight because so far the 9200+ has been able to do this.

Battery

According to the latest official preview, it comes with a 5,500mAh battery + 90W fast charge and a body thickness of 8.05mm. In addition, it debuts with Xiaomi Haixing battery repair algorithm technology, claiming that after 1,000 charge cycles, the battery's effective capacity is still ≥ 90%.

Screen

The phone boasts a 1.5K one-hole flexible straight screen that enhances the visual experience for users. It features 1,800 nits peak brightness, 1920 Hz high-frequency brightness control and an under-screen fingerprint scanner. A 12-bit, 68.7 billion colour, individually calibrated primary colour screen and hardware low blue-light support contribute to vivid viewing and eye protection in a variety of situations.

Cooling

Already in the Xiaomi 13T series, it was possible to integrate a cooling system with which the phone remains only lukewarm even under the highest load. The Redmi K70E will have a larger cooling surface than its predecessor, which means an increase of 26.6%. The stainless steel cooling medium covers an area of 5,000 m2, so it conducts it well even during the heat of the game or when charging at 90 W.

So the Redmi K70E will be the best mid-range phone in China. But don't be discouraged, if you want to enjoy it at home you just have to wait for the POCO F6 series. Redmi will unveil the full series later this month, which might be next week, 28th or 30th of November. When it is officially announced, it will be fixed. See you on YouTube!
