I already wrote about the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra yesterday, and it was something brutal, but Redmi also unveiled its own ultra phone, the Redmi K30 Ultra. Similar features, slightly different hardware and pricing.

The Ultra designation really takes the Redmi K30 to the top, with improved hardware that creates a price/value proposition that is unrivalled in the world today.

Well! Well, the specs show that it's not just a crappy phone, the full screen, the popup selfie camera and of course my favourite, the Sony camera, make it unique. But I'd have to get more familiar with the new Dimensity 1000+ processor, although from searching the net and reading comparisons with the SD865 processor, it's not so far behind that it's not a worthy rival. Its performance is slightly behind the 865, but much better than the 855. In AnTuTu terms:

  • SD865: 552835
  • D1000+: 540765

So the processor is cool, the camera is cool, the display is cool, the battery could be bigger, but it's packed with spades, it's got all kinds of WiFi, GPS, NFC! Who wouldn't want a phone like this??? Oh and the price is wallet friendly! The prices are only worth it in China!

  • Redmi K30 Ultra 6/128 GB - 1.999 Yuan ~ 83.915 Ft
  • Redmi K30 Ultra 8/128 GB - 2.199 Yuan ~ 92.310 Ft
  • Redmi K30 Ultra 8/256 GB - 2.499 Yuan ~ 104.900 Ft
