There is practically no Xiaomi phone that is not rumoured before its launch. This is the case with the Redmi 10X, which has been rumoured before, but it's often boring to see clearly false news. Now, however, the ominous device has appeared in the Google Play console along with some of its key specs. This source seems to be a notch more credible than the Geekbench results we haven't found, but of course it could be fabricated.

There were also earlier reports that the Redmi 10X would actually be part of the already over-complicated Redmi Note 9 family, and would actually be a rebranded version of the regular Redmi Note 9 for the Chinese market. Based on the info we have now, this seems to be disproved.

The screenshot from 91mobiles shows a display with a resolution of 2340*1080, so FHD+ panel. The processor is an 8-core MediaTek Helio G70, with 2 Cortex A72 cores running at 2 GHz and 6 Cortex A55 cores running at 1.7 GHz. This processor has not yet been used in a Xiaomi phone. This chip is a bit weaker than the G85 found in the Redmi Note 9. The graphics accelerator is a Mail G52. The specs include 4 GB of RAM. The phone is likely to target the lower mid-range, so it's a guess that it won't be this amount of RAM in the base model. The device runs Android 10, presumably with MIUI 12 interface.

There is no other information about the device, but if it is a real possibility to be on this list, it is not far away.
