Let's start with what is not gossip. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is the first phone to get Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 processor, unveiled at yesterday's Snapdragon Tech Summit.

As it turned out, SD875 was renamed, referring to the lucky number 8 in China. The new SoC itself brings a lot of new features, with 25% better CPU performance compared to the SD865, 35% better GPU performance and even the super fast X60 modem with integrated 5G capability. It also has BT5.2 and all the current WiFi standards.

Its performance is outstanding, of course compared to the Snapi processors so far, we haven't compared it to the competitor's performance yet, but it may come.

Xiaomi Mi 11

The Xiaomi Mi 11 poster has been leaked, showing the design of the rear camera unit. The slick 11 will have 3 cameras, which will feature the usual 108 MP main camera, complemented by a 13 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 5 MP macro camera.

It will look something like this up close, although the veracity of this image is questionable, so treat it with scepticism. The Mi 11 will get a larger battery, likely to be 4,780 mAh, which could be coupled with 50 W wired and 30 W wireless charging. The processor is still just a rumour, it might not get the SD888 but will be powered by the latest member of the 7 series, but we'll find out more about that later.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro

This is what the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will probably look like, we couldn't confirm the authenticity of this picture either, so it's not an official picture either, but we'll find out later. The Pro version, on the other hand, could debut Sony's new 50 MP camera module, alongside a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 12 MP telephoto lens with optical ZOOM option, the fourth unit is still unknown, but if you have any idea, let us know in the comments! The Pro is already sure to feature the SD888 processor, which will be accompanied by many new features and functions such as UFS 3.1 back, LPDDR5 memory and other goodies. Of course, the usual stuff like Infra, NFC, BT5.2, stereo speakers, etc. will not be left out. In terms of battery, it will be smaller than the regular 11, which might be 4,500 mAh, but of course you can charge it up in no time with the 120 W wired or 80 W wireless charger.

The launch date of the new phones is a matter of speculation, with some speculating that they will be unveiled this year, but most expect the two new flagships to be unveiled in 2021, as they have been launched and sold in Q1 every year so far. The Xiaomi Mi 11 will be available in China for 3,999 Yuan ~ 183,725 Ft, while the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will be available for 5,299 Yuan ~ 239,475 Ft, and I don't even have nightmares about the Hungarian prices...

As soon as we know more, or an official announcement is made, we'll be back with more details!
