[PLETYKA] Xiaomi 13 and MIUI 14 to arrive on 11 December

The Xiaomi first dated 1 December the launch of the Xiaomi 13 phone and MIUI 14. But unfortunately, things came up that made it necessary to postpone the launch. Since then, Xiaomi has been deeply silent on when the launch will take place. But there are rumours. The latest is that the launch will be on 11 December, Sunday at 19:00 China time.

The date didn't come from a tipster, blogger or gossip, but from a Chinese store Xiaomi's site, in the form of a banner. Unfortunately, I can't confirm whether this was officially posted by Xiaomi or created by the shop, but they don't mess around with ideas that come out of thin air.

When I clicked on the banner, I saw a big poster with the graphics and text of the previous announcement. Of course, there is one small change, and that is the date. The Xiaomi 13 and MIUI 14 launch will be on Sunday 11 December at 19:00???

So while the Xiaomi official Weibo page or a company member does not post it, it's just a PLETYKA! Not to be taken seriously. A tell-tale sign may be that the presentation is not on a weekday, e.g. Tuesday or Thursday, but on a weekend.

According to Xiaomi's official announcement, the Xiaomi 13 smooth version has a straight, unique high-end OLED straight screen and four equal sides. The Pro version of Xiaomi 13 has a hyperbolic screen based on flexible OLED technology. In terms of case size, the Xiaomi 13 has a width of 1.61 mm on three sides and 1.81 mm at the widest point, and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.3%.

The new Xiaomi 13 series will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, based on TSMC's 4 nm process. In terms of imaging, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be equipped with a 50 megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor and a 75 mm Leica telephoto lens.
