OPPO, vivo and Xiaomi: one-click data migration between them

OPPO, Xiaomi and Vivo have teamed up to offer users a better switching experience. In addition to system data such as photos and contacts, the three brands now also support the transfer of third-party app data from the other two phones, so you don't have to worry about chat history when switching phones.

Moving within a brand is nothing new, especially if you've had a Xiaomi or Redmi phone before. Although, due to data protection, not all third-party apps can be migrated and even data including login details, history, etc. will not be migrated. So unauthorized people cannot access our accounts and sensitive data. The same is true for OPPO and vivo brands.

Thanks to this new partnership, users can efficiently migrate data from their old smartphones to new devices from any of the three brands. Previously, users could only transfer photos and contacts between devices from these brands. But now they can also transfer third-party apps and data. So the experience is now almost similar to data migration between devices of the same brand.

Of the three brands, only Xiaomi is the most popular in the domestic market, but it's not impossible that there are a few OPPO or vivo phones in the country, and that's what someone wants to move from. But unfortunately this feature will not be available in our country recently, as the EU GDPR does not allow it.
