There's not a lot of new phones in the news these days, although one or two do slip through, but the smart stuff is more so. Two new Amazfit watches, Mi Watch Revolve and many useful smart devices are coming soon to the global market. But China is not idle either, Huami has released its own Amazfit Band 5 bracelet (more on that later) and now it looks like Redmi is also announcing a smartwatch.

The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently certified the Redmi Bluetooth device, which was announced back in July. The device, with model number REDMIWT01, will be wearable as a Bluetooth device, but it will not be another bracelet, but a full-size smartwatch. Rumours suggest that along with a long battery life, it will not be accompanied by Android Wear OS, but will have its own unique operating system, like the usual smartwatches. Just like the recently reported Mi Watch Revolve. Although it's even possible that the Revolve, which will debut in India, will be launched in China as the Redmi Watch. A good example of this is the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10T series Redmi equivalent in China.

The Redmi Watch smartwatch will be launched in October, 1-2 weeks after the Revolve launch in India. But as soon as we know more about it, we'll be right back with details in this article or on On our Facebook page!
