Yesterday we reported on a strange phenomenon: Some Xiaomi, Poco, Redmi phones running MIUI got into a bootloop in India after installing a service provider app, which was solved by uninstalling the then unknown app (using adb) or factory reset.

However, one of our readers pointed out: Other apps can also cause such errors in Xiaomi devices.

So this is most likely caused by a bug in MIUI, as other devices running MIUI have not had this problem. Xiaomi is already working on a fix, hopefully users will get it as soon as possible

What can I do about it?

You might think it's nothing, since it's all a mine detector, we don't know which apps are causing the phenomenon. However, if you pay attention to what apps you install, and maybe even know what was installed last, before the error, you can solve the problem without losing data by uninstalling the problem app via ADB.
