MIUI rumour: Xiaomi announces the list of devices for the upcoming Nougat update

True or not, it seems that a list of devices that will soon get an Android N based MIUI update has been published.

The Chinese company has previously released a list of devices that will soon receive the latest Android base, some with 7.0, while more advanced or more sold 7.1. The Xiaomi Mi4c, Mi4s, Mi Note, Mi Max, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus and Redmi Note 4X, included in the list above, have already received the 7.0 Nougat-based MIUI, and of the 4 phones below, only the Redmi 4x is missing, which is still available on 6.0.

As you can see, not all devices are on the list, and according to the announcements so far, only the Mi3/4 pair won't get the newer Android-based MIUI, citing incompatibility with Snapdragon 801 (AOSP, Lineage and other base systems are available up to 7.1.1...). Don't fret if you can't find your phone, more than likely MIUI9 will be released on all phones with Qualcomm processors running on base 7! MTK SoC is no longer even rumoured to be coming or not. We'll see!
