MIUI beta 9.6.13 - what's new

In this series of beta articles, I'll be showing you what's new in the MIUI rom beta, which is released week by week. These new features will later be included in the stable roms.

Changed the interface of the long screenshot

The long screenshot used to be accessible by clicking on the thumbnail after taking the screenshot, now it's available under the thumbnail after taking the screenshot, as is the send function, although this hasn't been removed from its previous location yet, so it's in two places for now. From now on, you can immediately cut, "doodle", write text on the screenshot or blur from the screenshot by pressing on the thumbnail.

Quick switch to change the SIM card's Internet access

Already available from Android 5.1 onwards, wifi was available from the shortcuts, and now switching between mobile network SIM cards has been added. This can now be useful, for example, with the advent of DIGI mobile, which gives you a lot of net, but far from perfect coverage.

Change the clock style on the lock screen

There are 3 different clock styles in the new update, the familiar centre clock, the left-hand clock, and the centre clock, but with the clock on two rows.

Battery optimisation home page changed

The battery optimisation interface has been slightly redesigned and changed.

Unfortunately, it has recently been reported that the availability of Chinese beta ruins will be severely limited, and global beta ruins will be completely discontinued. This narrows the field of those who want to test, but we hope that this will allow more time and energy to develop stable ruins, making them even better and more stable.
