I've already published a list of Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones that may receive the MIUI 15 update. Now that list has been expanded with a few phones, not just new ones, but older ones that may come with Android 14 base.

MIUI 15 Android 14 alapon: bővült a telefonlista

Already presented in the Redmi Note 13 and the Xiaomi 13T series, we can only expect the arrival of the top phones. The Redmi K70 series is expected to be launched in China at the end of the year, in late October or early November. But of course everyone is more looking forward to the Xiaomi 14 series launch, which is expected after the Redmi. Or before, it is not yet clear.

Of course, phones released this year that have new hardware will all get Android 14 base, which will be the basis for MIUI 15, but not a requirement. So there may be Android 13 based MIUI 15 updates coming, which will be updated to the new base later.

New phones in the list

Xiaomi is continuously testing its new interface on the new platform. The previous list has now been extended with some new and old phones:

  • Xiaomi 11 Ultra
  • Xiaomi CIVI 1S
  • Xiaomi CIVI 2
  • Xiaomi 11T Pro
  • Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
  • Redmi K40 Pro / Pro+
  • Redmi Note 13 Pro+
  • Redmi Note 13 Pro
  • Redmi Note 13 5G
  • Redmi Note 12S

There are some in the list that have only been released in China, so not here, but there is a European equivalent. But it's mostly global phones, so you can expect the Android 14-based MIUI 15 update here at home too.

Android 14 will bring a number of new features that MIUI 15 will make good use of. Although we know that MIUI has always been ahead of pure Android in terms of customising the interface. One such new feature will be the customisability of the lock screen. It will offer users features such as changing the clock face, managing the shortcuts that appear, managing the colour of the clock and the size of its ruler. Until now, even in MIUI, you couldn't do this freely, you could only choose from a few. But with a theme this could be remedied, you just had to find the right one.
